Education is Committed to Maintaining the Current 20 CRAS


The Minister of Education, Ana Gonzalez, pledged yesterday to keep for the next school grouped the 29 rural centers (CRAS) operating in Asturias. The number of units awaits future enrollment, but Ana Gonzalez also wants to keep the minimum number of students for not closing four rural units attached to these CRAS.

The information was provided by the Government of the Principality from a question posed by Rep. Susana Lopez Ares PP. At the bottom of the question, and the answer behind the Ministry plans to design a new network of centers for which have started discussions with the mayors of fifteen councils.

The Minister also announced a cost of 107,000 euro's to change the cover of the College Master Casanova, Cangas del Narcea. The center is 1967 and is seriously deficient in that deck, in the gym and in the arena, in addition to dirt in the environment. The track was built by the City.

About the College poet Angel Gonzalez, the PP recalls serious structural problems, and the Minister said that "there is no structural deficiency."

March 27: Posted in the centers of the number of vacancies.

Applications
9 to 19 April: submission of applications for admission to first-choice center.

Provisionally admitted
April 29: Publication of provisional lists of supported and unsupported.

Claims
April 29 to May 2: Deadline claims against the School Board or the addresses of the centers.

Final lists
May 10: Publication of the final list.

Alternatives in Primary
June 6: Publication in the center asked first choice seat assignments for students who have not been admitted to the center (Nursery and Primary).

Alternatives Secondary
July 1: the same procedure but for the ESO.
